Last weekend I was supposed to go to Bologna,Italy, for work. 20km before Bologna the meeting got cancelled. While driving I turned around to my friend and told her we could visit a friend of mine who lives nearby. When arriving at my friend´s house I realized that my so-called meeting was a total set-up. My entire family was there to surprise me for my 30st birthday. Around dinner time I almost had a heart attack when entering the dining room. Not only my entire family was present but also all my dearest friends from France, Germany and Austria including Ginger Bread Boy. I was so touched, moved and humbled, you can´t even imagine. We spend the entire weekend eating, visiting Emilia Romagna and as far as I am concerned there was a lot of hugging and crying (of joy and overwhelment – I know it´s not an actual word but I am still shocked)
It felt so great to see everybody, to talk to everybody and to feel so much love.
If I was Peter Pan, this would be my happy memory that would make me fly. J
